So proud of our team members Hal Tooley and Nick Ayers who took on the other lifesavers in the UK at the Surf Life Saving GB Nationals. Some amazing results with Hal taking an impressive 5th in the Beachflags final and Nick making finals and semi finals in his events, taking two bronze medals in the Taplin relay and board relay they both race under the North Norfolk Surf Life Saving cap who respectively finished 4th overall in the Men’s category! Wow. The future is definitely bright for the east region in surflifesaving ! Thanks to the support of the Big Lottery Fund and Aqua Sport International #futureisbright #champsinthemaking #joinus ❤💛

Our members Hal and Nick are competing this weekend in the Surf Life Saving Championships down in Cornwall with North Norfolk Surf Life Saving Club
Hal has reached the semi finals of the sprints and Nick is doing great.
Good luck to our clubbies and to North Norfolk on day 2 of the Champs.
For our club members and volunteer’s August is flying by and the summer will soon be in our memories for 2017.
This is only because of our fun packed Surf Life Saving times with our Surf Cadet summer programme.
Our Surf Cadets have been enjoying Lowestoft’s golden sands and glorious North Sea.
We would like to thank our friend Ashley (Lifeguard and Coach from New Zealand) for helping on the first few days of Surf Cadets.
The Surf Cadets programme involves the game of beach flags, which is fun, energetic and brings friendly competition for the nippers.
This friendly competition creates friendships while also improving sporting ability and with three more sessions left to go, they will increase their life saving skills and knowledge.
2017 has seen our seniors training three times a week, practising Surf Life Saving Skills and improving their fitness for the SLSGB Nationals at the end of August.
Our members progression is important, from starting as a Surf Cadet, to becoming a Life Saver and having opportunities to progress on to be a coach or compete nationally in sport.
Thank you to all our volunteers and everyone who has got involved so far to make a summer turn into a community inspired summer!
If your interested in getting involved please contact us!

The club would like to thank all members, friends and family of members who attended.
A big thanks goes out to the Raj Mahal Lowestoft for hosting us and helping with the event, they can be found here http://www.newrajmahal.co.uk/.
