About us

Waveney Surf Life Saving Club is a non-profit organisation established in 2016 and is affiliated to Surf Life Saving Great Britain.

The goal of the club is to save lives in and around the beach environment and we aim to achieve this by promoting water safety through beach activities, participating in life saving sport and ensuring members can gain international recognised qualifications.

Surf Life Saving has much to offer and is something that the whole family can participate in. Members range from Professional Lifeguards to Triathletes to people who just want to keep physically fit or wish to gain knowledge in Life saving techniques, First Aid and resuscitation. Our philosophy as a club is to educate, provide a public service, improve skills and physical fitness and to above all have fun.
